Shoe Box Appeal
Students across Chichester High School have been busy collecting items for the Rotary Club of Chichester Priory's Shoe Box Appeal https://www.rotaryshoebox.org/
The appeal asks for donations in shoeboxes for disadvantaged or displaced children in Albania, Montenegro, Moldova and Romania.
Students were asked to bring in new items or unwanted gifts for boys and girls aged between one and fifteen. These items get placed in shoeboxes and sent to children who otherwise might not receive anything for Christmas.
Miss Wickham, who collected items with her form group, 9ARa, said: "I was delighted with the items donated by my form group. We collected a teddy, a doll, lots of stationary, toothpaste, toothbrushes and hair accessories. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful form, full of very kind and generous students."
