Dr Pete Phillips
After 10 years of living and working across the UK as an artist and theatre-maker, I settled in Chichester in 2012 and moved into academia.
I now live in West Wittering and am a Senior Lecturer in Theatre at the University of Chichester, where, alongside teaching and research duties, I am also the admissions tutor for the Theatre Department.
In this role, I work closely with schools and colleges in the admissions process, including careers fairs, open days, and interview/auditions.
My PhD brings together participatory theatre, sports media and politics, and my current research explores the performance of ecology.
I have been a parent governor before at Chichester Nursery School and Family Centre and I coach Chichester City U14’s girls' football team.
My daughter is enjoying Chichester High School and my two sons attend Parklands Primary School – one in year 6, looking forward to Chi High next year!
