Andy graduated with a BEd (Hons) Physical Education - Secondary Education (with QTS) Class 2 Division 1 from University College of St Mark and St John, Plymouth.
Andy Palmer has been teaching at Chichester High School since 2000.
He has been involved in all aspects of school life as a PE teacher. During this time he has worked his way through his FA qualifications and currently holds a UEFA B Licence in Coaching Football.
He has coached at all ages and levels of football whilst working for the Elite Training Centre in a number of centres across the south coast.
Andy has worked with a number of academy standard footballers and also developed players into the standard required by academies.
Andy’s focus on developing players is paramount in how his teams grow and progress.
Andy has worked to develop the Sport Academy programme and will be driving the programme forward at every opportunity to ensure its success.
Andy has over the years gained a significant amount of sports qualifications.

Miss Honour has been working at Chichester High School for 5 years, as a PE teacher and in the SEND department.
She graduated with a BA Honours degree in Sports Development and Coaching from Chichester University where she played Netball in the BUCS league and captained her team.
Miss Honour has played in both the Portsmouth and Worthing women’s leagues since she was 14 and continues to play and captain in the Worthing league.
Miss Honour has developed netball at Chichester High School into the biggest female extra-curricular club and enters both A and B teams into the West Sussex West league.
This year, Miss Honour has entered KS3 and KS4 students into a national cup and she is excited to embrace the development of Netball at 6th form level.
As the new Head of Netball, Miss Honour holds a level 2 coaching qualification and is a qualified “into officiating” tutor.
As part of the Sixth Form Sports Academy Miss Honour will be able to provide not only quality training and playing experience but also coaching and umpiring training and practice, to ensure opportunities to progress and work within the ever growing Netball world!
