CHS Platinum Jubilee Tea
Wednesday 25th May was also the day that our School Hall was transformed into a beautiful venue for afternoon tea.
It was our Year 10 Hospitality pupils who demonstrated visible excellence in their preparation, conduct and service.
The afternoon had been created by Mrs Smith and the Technology team, with links to History, Science and English.
Mrs Smith created a ‘green canopy’ in our school for the afternoon, for us to enjoy afternoon tea in.
The history of our school throughout the Sovereign's reign was also on display.
CHS student Tom Carr received a trophy and a cash prize for winning the Chichester High School Great Pudding Bake Off for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Mrs Smith and the team re-created Tom’s winning pudding, a rice pudding, which was served to all the people who attended the ‘special’ tea this afternoon.
