Congratulations Jonny!

Congratulations to former student Jonny Smith who has won the BCF (British Culinary Federation) Most Promising Young Chef award.

Peter Griffiths, President of the BCF said: "The BCF Awards, now in its 17th year, is an opportunity for the industry to recognise hospitality professionals who excel and perform to the highest standards in their chosen profession. Over the years a long list of exceptional talent has been recognised by the BCF from across all sectors of the industry."

There are 11 award categories including Most Promising Young Chef, Chef Lecturer/Mentor of the Year, Restaurant/Hotel Chef of the Year and Lifetime Achievement Award.

Jonny works at Gravetye Manor pictured below and has won a string of awards over the years.

The school community are extremely proud of Jonny and wishes him further success as he navigates his career.
