Options Evening 2024

Re: Year 9 Options Evening

I write to remind you that on Tuesday 27th February we have our Year 9 options evening.  This is an opportunity for you and your son/daughter to find out more information about the subjects that they would like to choose to study in Years 10 and 11.

The evening begins at 5:30pm, with a presentation from myself in the Lancastrian Hall.

The subjects on offer are going to be based in different classrooms as detailed on the attached rooming schedule. Each department will deliver a presentation at 6.15pm, 6:30pm, 6:45pm and 7.00pm. The presentations will give you the key information about each subject. There will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end of each presentation.

We look forward to meeting you at our main reception where you will receive your welcome pack before proceeding to the hall for the presentation and then you will be able to visit the rooms of your choice to experience the different options on offer.

At the end of the evening, SLT, the Head of Year 9, Head of Sixth Form and our SENCO will be available to answer any further questions you might have on the evening.
