#HelloYellow

We would like to formally mark World Mental Health Day on
Thursday 10th October 2019.

In order to do this we would like to raise money for the charity ‘Young Minds’ who support children and young people’s mental health. Their vision is to “..make sure all young people get the best possible mental health support and have the resilience to overcome life’s challenges.” We would like to raise money for  their “HelloYellow” campaign  by asking students to wear something yellow on Thursday 10th October and if possible donate £1.00 towards this charity (donation is voluntary). Please note that this is not a non-uniform day and students must wear their normal school uniform.  The yellow item could be for example, a t-shirt, pair of socks, hair ribbon, tie, bow or scarf. During tutor time, students will be asked to think positive mental health and how to support themselves and others.

Thank you for your anticipated support in raising money and awareness for this important cause. If you would like to further support Chichester High School in this area or have any ideas for future campaigns to promote positive mental health, please contact Kate Angus via e-mail
