A CHS Science 'spooky' Halloween

We had a very 'spooky' Science department today.

Happy Halloween!

On all Hollow’s eve, the Science department got into the spooky swing of things. With vampires and zombies taking the lessons, the students were in for a trick or treat.

In Kingsham building Mr Ghoulstone and Mr Merideath hosted hair-raising activities and in Stockbridge Mr Snake Rake and Mrs Phantom Ford delivered devilish demonstrations.

Dissections, slime and skeletons were all on show and a flame raising murder mystery was solved by the end of the day.

What a fun way to celebrate Halloween on a school day and a fantastic way to encourage an interest in science for all of our students.

Fingers crossed our science department will turn back to normal at midnight…..
