The Reading Cloud is our School Library’s exciting online reading community.

Pupils can set up their own profiles and avatars and access their library accounts.

The Reading Cloud makes it easy to search for books, access Accelerated Reader and check their accounts.

It gives pupils a chance to use the social networking style of the Reading Cloud to share opinions about books by making recommendations through blogging and video/written book reviews.

The Reading Cloud is also a great way to access resources for homework and research.  The search engine links to non- fiction resources in our library, appropriate subject websites, video resources and even links to the West Sussex Library Service.

The Library is open from

8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 4pm on Fridays.

We offer book clubs for all year groups and have regular competitions and author visits and are involved in local and National book awards.

Book Clubs - come along to the library for an opportunity to discuss your favourite fiction and discover new authors and genres.

Book of the Month
The Wolf Wilder by Katherine Rundell

Feodora and her mother live in the snowbound woods of Russia, in a house full of food and fireplaces. Ten minutes away, in a ruined chapel, lives a pack of wolves. Feodora's mother is a wolf wilder, and Feo is a wolf wilder in training. A wolf wilder is the opposite of an animal tamer: it is a person who teaches tamed animals to fend for themselves, and to fight and to run, and to be wary of humans.

When the murderous hostility of the Russian Army threatens her very existence, Feo is left with no option but to go on the run. What follows is a story of revolution and adventure, about standing up for the things you love and fighting back. And, of course, wolves.
