Boxing at CHS

Boxing with ms paffey 8 Chichester District Council has provided a grant of £3800 from the Government's UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) and Rural England Prosperity Fund (REPF) to support various projects across the district. The council's spending plan was approved by the Government's Department for Levelling Up, Housing, and Communities last winter, and the council received a total of £1 million for UKSPF and £700,000 for REPF.

Chichester High School used some of this money to purchase boxing equipment, which will be utilised in lessons with ACE Tutor Shona Paffey. Shona is a TKAT ACE Tutor at CHS, a qualified boxing coach and personal fitness trainer.

TKAT ACE is ‘a champion for every child’, providing dedicated 1:1 tutors for each disadvantaged student and their family in all 45 TKAT schools.
