La Plagne 2023

La Plagne 2023 was the perfect ski trip, although we don't talk about Dover!

We set off from Chichester in the very early hours, and a mere 35 hours later we arrived at our hotel.

Mr Boniface's infamous schedule kicked in, bedrooms were allocated, breakfast was eaten, a lot of breakfast was eaten, skis and boots were hired and we met our ski instructors.

The week flashed past in a blur. The weather was amazing, the snow conditions were some of the very best, the students were an absolute delight and the teachers were pretty decent too. Food favourites included the never ending supply of croissants, the pizza, the sausages, the chips and of course, the chocolate pudding.

Other highlights of the week included the bowling trip and the nightly awards, after supper. Who would have the dubious honour of skiing in the 'Duck outfit' for the next day and who earned a beanie hat made by Mr Boniface's Mum?

We even had a helicopter rescue on the last day, although Mr Peters is still slightly cross, that he wasn't allowed to get in it.

Thank you to all of the 60 students, who made it such an amazing experience.

Ski trip 2024 is in its final planning stages and you will not want to miss it.

Mr Peters
