Dance with Chichester College

We were delighted to welcome students from Chichester College to perform to a select group of Year 10 students and some of our Gifted and Talented dancers in Year 9.

The students from the College are studying a Dance Level 2/3 Diploma. This course develops the artistic, creative, technical and professional skills that a dancer needs in order to fully prepare for a varied and high-level career in the dance industry. They study a range of dance disciplines including Contemporary, Ballet, and Jazz as well as choreographic, creative, professional and historical studies.

If they are successful in the first year they will progress to the second year during which they will complete an Extended Diploma.

The students performed several dances which they are practicing for a show and then took our CHS students for some classes.

During the second session, we were pleased to welcome back former CHS students who are currently on the Chichester College course, Rebekah Wells, Jamie Pearce and Ebony Rhoder.
