Mrs Woodall-Jones

Redgrave bethan woodall jones

My teaching journey started in 1994.

I studied Physical Education (BA with QTS) at The University of Brighton
from 1994-1998

I worked in three different Portsmouth schools, for the first 15 years of my career. In the role of Head of Expressive Arts, delivering Dance and Drama, then Head of Year and Head of House, in my next two consecutive schools.

I have always been very passionate about delivering the best pastoral care, this passion stemmed from being a tutor for 5 years and thoroughly enjoying the opportunities it provided.

I started teaching at Chichester High School in September 2018, as an English teacher and Head of Redgrave House. I love working closely with the superb team of tutors and Redgrave House Champion, Mr Shove. We are committed to meeting the needs of our students, and helping them to believe in themselves and aspire to achieve.

I feel very privileged to be in the role I am in, to nurture the individual growth of all CHS students and support them in upholding our ethos:

Our Redgrave House Champion is Mr Shove

I have been a teacher of Physical Education since 2015. I studied Secondary Physical Education and Teaching (QTS) BA Hons at The University of Chichester.

Chichester High School has been the only school I have taught at within my teaching career. During my time at Chichester High School, I have gained roles such as KS3 Leader within Physical Education and House Champion of Redgrave.

From a young age, I knew I wanted to be a teacher and have a positive impact upon young people’s lives.  I have been very determined in my role as a House Champion of Redgrave to give pupils the support they need on a day to day basis as they make their learning journey through the school. Since joining the school, I have been a proud tutor seeing my Year 11’s all the way through from Year 7; guiding them through the difficult challenges they face along the way, and making sure they achieve their full potential.

My other passion lies within sport and physical education, Football and Table Tennis are my favourite sports! There is such a wide variety of extra-curricular opportunities for all and I always encourage all students to participate in as many activities as possible and to enjoy these experiences as they make their way through Chichester High School.

I am very excited to see what the next year brings for the House and I will be there supporting you all on your journey!

Mr Shove
