Teachers are available and working from home during the term of the closure and will be communicating with pupils via ClassCharts.
All work will be set under homework as Blended Learning. Students, parents and staff can communicate via the messaging section of ClassCharts, announcements may also be used to send information to you. A students timetable is also available which will be followed during this period of remote learning.
On ClassCharts Teachers may direct students to Google Classroom for live lesson links, resources and forms.
A teacher may ask for homework to be uploaded to Google Classroom, this video shows how this is done.
You can be assured that when your child uploads completed work, their subject teacher will set new assignments for them to complete each lesson they have.
Should your child need support or have any queries they will be able to contact their subject teacher via Classcharts.

- Type in ‘Google Classroom’ into your web browser and follow the link to sign in.
You can also download the Google Classroom app.
2. Sign in with your child’s school email address and click next.
The email address will be similar to this example: firstname.lastname@example.org
The number at the beginning will be:
20 for year 7
19 for year 8
18 for year 9
17 for year 10
16 for year 11
Then their first initial and surname @chs-tkat.org
