TKAT ACE students visit Goodwood Aerodrome

Thirteen TKAT ACE students alongside 3 TKAT ACE Tutors had the privilege of visiting Goodwood Aerodrome https://www.goodwood.com/flying/aerodrome/ to tour the grounds.

The trip was both exciting and informative! The group was lucky enough to receive a tour of the hangars where they got to see a wide range of planes and helicopters as well as an in-depth look into the fire station by Goodwood’s very own Chief Fireman, Kev Wilson. 

With 315 years of experience within the grounds, there was no question that Mr Wilson was unable to answer; from fire safety to aerospace engineering, our inquisitive CHS students certainly put Mr Wilson's knowledge to the test. 

A few kind words from Mr Wilson following the visit:

"I just wanted to email and say what a great bunch of kids your group were. They listened attentively, followed the safety instructions, and asked some excellent questions! It was a real pleasure to show you all around."

We'd like to take this opportunity to thank Goodwood for offering our students such an incredible experience. We very much hope we're able to plan more like it in the future.
