RSHE Health Week at CHS

Health at work

We've had lots happening across years 10-13 this week as part of their RSHE Health Week.

We kicked off the week with 'Oddballs'... (see what I did there!).

On Monday, Year 10 had an assembly with Callum from the Oddballs Foundation who highlighted the importance of self-examination in tackling testicular cancer.

On Tuesday, our 6th form welcomed the NHS Universities Hospital Trust who discussed sexual health and access to regular STI screenings.

To round off the week, today we welcomed ex-professional footballer Scott Davies, who discussed his struggles with mental health and gambling as part of a project with EPIC Risk Management. Year 10 and 11 were enthralled from start to end and so many have said how amazing the experience was.
