TOILETS at CHS

Dear parents/carers,

I have made the decision to close most of the toilets temporarily during lesson time from this morning.

This is because of some repeated poor behaviour and vandalism over the past two weeks. All toilets will be open before school, during break and lunchtime, and after school. There will be toilets open at the bottom of the Humanities block during lesson time for emergencies.Students who have medical reasons for leaving lessons will, of course, be allowed to do so.

I know that closing toilets is always an unpopular decision. It is a temporary measure to ensure that all students are in lessons on time, and that we know where they are.

I will review this decision at the end of this term and make a further decision at this point.
