Duke of Edinburgh Awards
Silver and Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award winners were presented with their certificates by Headteacher Mr Govan who congratulated the students on their achievements and encouraged them to continue to do higher awards in the scheme.
A rather special day as King Charles has conferred the title of Duke of Edinburgh on his youngest brother, Prince Edward, to mark his 59th birthday today.
Mr Tidy, D of E Co-ordinator for CHS, also congratulated the students and said: “I am very proud of all of them, they have worked hard to get their awards and that will be recognised by universities and employers in the future. Not only is it great fun to be involved in the D of E programme but it is also a great “qualification” to have on your UCAS personal statement and CV”
