CHS Platinum Jubilee Pudding 'Bake Off'
Holding the CHS Great pudding bake off was an absolute treat as the students had made such an effort with their organisation and planning for the event.
Although nerves were present they were soon squashed as the events got underway and we were amazed at how confident the students were.
The use of red, white and blue along with traditional recipes was there for all to see.
The tasting of these recipes was an absolute delight.
The overall winning recipe by Thomas Carr in Year 8 was like tasting a little bit of gorgeousness, creamy, indulgent and with a vanillary taste. Very professional!
I would like to thank all students who took part because it isn't an easy thing to do, being judged on what you make, but we thoroughly enjoyed it and were blown away by the high standards.
