CCF - Torch Relay Service

On Saturday 28th August 2021 a number of cadets represented the CCF at a Remembrance Torch Relay Service to commemorate 100 years of the Royal British Legion, held at.St Anne's Church, East Wittering.

 

 

The Service marked the conclusion of a Torch Relay that had been run across the whole of the County with the Service marking the handover of the Torch to the East Wittering community for safekeeping.

 

Our cadets had major roles as escorts to the Torch, with the Handover itself and by parading the Contingent Banner alongside RBL Standards as well as assisting with road marshalling for the small march through the village prior to the Service.
