TKAT GAMES 2019 A HUGE SUCCESS!

The TKAT Games 2019 took place on Tuesday 21 May at the Lee Valley Athletic Centre, London and saw all 44 TKAT Academies come together for an incredible display of sporting and artistic talent.

With 1,500 pupils from across all schools in attendance, the event was a festival of sports and performance, with pupils taking part in track or field events including Discus, Long Jump, Javelin, Shot Put, High Jump, 100m and Relay racing.

Those pupils not participating in sports cheered their team-mates on and some performed in dance troupes to entertain the spectators.

All pupils put in 100% effort in their events and when they weren’t competing, they were showing an amazing amount of support, especially when it came to the 100m final! A massive well done to everyone involved and special congratulations to the pupils who won medals!

TKAT CEO Dr Karen Roberts said: “It was another fantastic day at our annual TKAT Games; well done to all of our students, including athletes, performers and sports leaders -  and a huge thank you to all the Academies that helped run events – here’s to next year!”
