Year 8 - BAQUS Boys

The Year 8 football team continued their impressive form with a dominant 7 – 1 victory away at Felpham yesterday.

Yr8 baqus boys

The 3G surface at Felpham was a welcome change from our recent fixtures on muddy grass pitches and allowed us to really ‘showcase’ our attacking and fluid passing style of play.

The team were very impressive and played some exciting football creating chances to score from the first whistle.

After some heroic goalkeeping from the Felpham GK early on, we eventually made the breakthrough with Kieran Jones converting a well-worked move. Felpham hit back immediately with a good goal of their own but after that, then it was one-way traffic to CHS!

CHS continued to pass the ball well and create chances and further goals from Cobi Armah-White, Ollie Barry, Jack Hinshelwood, Terriq Osman, Freddie Phillips and Joe Masters completed a great performance and it was nice to see seven different scorers, highlighting a real depth of talent in this squad. Special mention goes to Mr Hauxwell and his team at Felpham for their effort and commitment to playing good football throughout.

As always please congratulate our students on a great victory and for representing their school impeccably; Harvey Bayley, Cobi Armah-White, Alfie Cullum-Charles, Toby Hughes, Ollie Broughton, Dan Hubble, Ollie Barry, Jack Hinshelwwod ( c ), Joe Masters, Terriq Osman, Kieran Jones, Freddie Phillips, Alfie Netley-Harris.
