ASSISTANT PASTORAL SUPPORT MANAGER
Full Time, 37 hours per week, term time only including CPD days
Grade 4 (points 5-6), actual salary £16,489-£16,819
For a September 2021 start
We are seeking someone to join our hard working, highly caring and child centred pastoral support team. We are looking for someone who is well organised, has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, has strong administrative skills and who relishes the challenge of working with young people. The role will involve working with students from all years and often with those young people who are most vulnerable and in need of support. This is a highly rewarding and at time challenging role. This will include:
- supporting our Heads of House with student well-being and behaviour
- supporting our KS3 and 4 Pastoral Support Managers with safeguarding and wellbeing concerns
- helping run our restorative and inclusion rooms
As part of the pastoral team responsible for the welfare of our pupils you will liaise with tutors, teachers, parents and support agencies. Experience of working with young people, restorative justice and safeguarding procedures would be an advantage.
