I have lived in Chichester for over 14 years with a 3 year gap while working in the East Midlands. I have both a son and a daughter who attend the school.
I trained as a teacher in 1995 and worked in Midhurst for a number of years at the local primary school. In 2005 I entered higher education and worked as a teacher trainer for a university in the East Midlands. I have worked as part of the primary education team at Chichester University for 5 years, I hold responsibility for humanities and also teach on the professional studies and computing teams. I have published in the fields of technology and values and philosophy of education. My current PhD research focuses on the effective use of technology in primary schools.
