Girls U13 football
On Wednesday 29th March, the U13 girls football team played against OSVA.
Of the 6 Yr7 girls that played this was their first ever game. Although they had the experience and support of the year 8’s, Rhiannon Roberts and Sophie Weller who were both excellent, the experience was a massive learning curve.
Lulu Millen in goal acquitted herself well but, in the face of the experienced OSVA attack, she was up against it from the very start.
Isatu was excellent and scored a brilliant individual goal. Rhiannon missed a penalty at 1-1 and after that we didn’t really ever look like scoring. Lucy was fantastic in midfield and worked so hard alongside Sam. Georgia Rose tried so hard all game and will be brilliant with a little bit more experience and Georgie Smith in defence looked composed and made excellent progress.
