Welcome back from Mrs McKeown

Dear Parent/Carer

It is with great sense of pride that I returned to Chichester High School this term as Headteacher.

CHS has been on a significant journey over the past few years and we are now on the next stage of that journey. Naomi Lewry, who has been appointed Deputy Head, and I are determined to further secure CHS as a school of excellence in our community so that all our students can go onto to excel in their chosen careers.

I will be writing to you all weekly in a brief newsletter so I can share the highlights of our school community and celebrate our excellent students and staff. As well as this communication, I am organising, with our Chair of Governors, a number of opportunities for you to come into school in the next few months and speak to my senior leadership team and myself in person. We feel that working with you as parents and carers is central to maintaining the high standards we have and ensuring your children are both supported and challenged to be their very best.

It is very important to me that our students are well presented when they both attend school and travel to and from school and I am grateful for your support in this matter.

I very much look forward to working with you.

Wishing you and your families a very happy and healthy new year,

Yours faithfully

Jo McKeown
