Cash for Clothes

Dear Parent/Carer,

Chichester High School are collecting old clothes for Sussex Textile Recycling and have organised a van to come to the school on Friday 16th November to collect them. If you have any old clothes you would like to donate to their charity please ask your son/daughter to bring them in before Friday and take them to the Hub.

Sussex Textile Recycling - cash for unwanted clothes

Cash for Clothes from Sussex Textile Recycling - cash for unwanted clothes - we're helping to reduce the amount of clothes and textiles being thrown away and adding to the UK's landfill sites in East and West Sussex.

Clothes

What happens to your clothes?
Your clothes are sorted, packed and then exported to developing countries in Eastern Europe where they will then be re-used.

Cash for Clothes - Why we do this?
We are helping to reduce the amount of goods being thrown away and adding to the UK’s landfill sites. Together we can make the planet greener. We also run fundraising schemes for schools, sports clubs and more.

There are many countries in need where people cannot afford what we can afford in Britain. Families, children and the elderly rely on the help of wealthier countries. Our company has long established connection with less developed countries together with good knowledge and expertise in our field so your clothes will be useful to others.

Thank you for your time.

Kind regards

School office
